A single
procedure of IVF costs at least 6000 pounds in the UK whereas it costs tops
2000 Euro in Greece. When it comes for choice there are at least 30 centres
that offer most IVF procedures in Athens alone. Having to choose where to go
can be really tricky. There are four large centres in Athens and the rest are
smaller.

all, we perform all IVF procedures with no exception. Two consultants,
available at all times, will be there to answer all your questions and make you
feel more comfortable. There is always a warm atmosphere, which makes you feel
relaxed and secure.
Dr Bobotis
the consultant in chief has had training in the UK, is a holder of MRCOG
(Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists) and is a
member of the GMC (General Medical Council). The chief embryologist Pappa has
had training in the UK and has had experience setting up units in Greece and
Rumania.
Secondly,
we focus on safety and high success rates. We follow strict procedures at all
stages and we comply not only to ISO 9001 but also to the newest EN15224. We
comply to all regulations set by the Greek Supervising Body of Fertility
Services. When it is possible we exceed the standards requested. A small example would be our clean room (the
IVF room), which was recently classified as category C when the standard
requested is D.
What is
most important is that we make sure we know every couple’s problem in detail
and try to offer the best treatment available.
Lastly, we
also provide details for accommodation nearby and have suggestions for
excursions during your stay in Athens. It is possible to shorten the number of
days in Greece by performing the initial tests in collaborating private centres
in London.
